What other dance form is so egalitarian? Women and men have the same role: Dancer. There are no "mens moves" or "womens moves". Each dancer brings to the dance what she or he is able to bring. With no rules, the dance is governed by the desires of two bodies in motion around a shared point of contact. It is the form I love - the freedom of expression.
